Fantastic news for First Home Buyers!
Did you know that First Home Buyers’ may now be eligible for a full stamp duty concession* when buying a new home?
The Queensland Government has just announced that new first home buyers will no longer have to pay stamp duty! Effective from May 1st 2025, eligible first home buyers can get a full stamp duty concession when purchasing or building a new home, and there’s no cap on the value of the home.
This is fantast news for buyers! It will save you thousands of dollars and reduce your up-front purchase costs, allowing you to enter the housing market sooner. There are some eligibility criteria’s, so visit the Queensland Government website to find out all the details.
